Top National Rugby League players in the Vodafone Fiji Bati side have admitted after last night's 42-6 win over France, that nothing is impossible for the team to reach their goal of a place in the semifinals of the Rugby League World Cup.
Manager Ilaitia Naqau said Brisbane Broncos forward Ashton Sims, Paramatta Eels fullback Jarod Hayne and man of the match Aaron Groom shared their feeling to the team after last night's win, that they believe the Bati are on course to create a new history in the sport.
Naqau also revealed that the coaching staff and the team's pastors had to spend time with winger Akuila Uate who scored 3 tries in the game as he was not feeling well before kick-off.
The Bati side scored a total of 7 tries in the game as they led 18-6 at half-time.
Last night's victory has left Fiji leading the points table with two points and a game in hand against Scotland at 9.10pm on Wednesday.
