It does not look like all taxis have had their metres adjusted.
These are the views of Fiji Taxi Union General Secretary Rishi Ram on around 5,000 taxis having their metres calibrated to the new flag fall rate of $1.00 from 6am to 10pm and $1.50 from 10pm to 6am.
All taxi drivers, via a directive from the Transport Ministry and the Land Transport Authority, were to have had their metres calibrated by Saturday the 14th of February.
The Land Transport Authority and the Transport Ministry are expected to comment later today.
