The struggling Northland team upset Farebrother-Sullivan trophy holders Tailevu by 15-14 in a Digicel Round 7 match at Gatward Park in Korovou.

The hosts scored two first half tries then defended superbly in the second spell to register only their second win of the season.

Rupeni Caucau notched a try but it was not enough to help Tailevu overcome the hosts.

The loss sees Tailevu fifth in the standing while Nadroga has returned to the top following their 23-9 win over Rewa at Burebasaga grounds.

In other games played yesterday: Lautoka drew with Suva 28-28, Namosi stunned Navosa 27-22, while Naitasiri staged a strong comeback at Garvey Park in Tavua to win 14-12.
