The Northland Rugby team has fallen out of contention of claiming their first Digicel Cup trophy after defending champions, Nadi beat Ovalau by 28-6 yesterday.
Northland was in fourth place before the match but has fallen to fifth position.
Looking at the Digicel Cup semifinals, Nadroga will host Naitasiri in the first semifinal at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on August 8, while points table leaders, Lautoka will host Nadi on August 15 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
