The long distance runners from the Northland District will also be the ones to lookout for at the Central Division FMF Chow games today.
As seen in the past, athletes from the highlands and the interior have done well in the long distance events.
Northland is bringing only 35 athletes but President Metuisela Mucunabitu said they are confident of taking some gold medals back home.
Meanwhile, first timers Rotuma is also looking forward to creating some upsets during the games after receiving a timely boost from Digicel Fiji who donated their sports uniforms.
The Central Division FMF Chow games will be held at the ANZ stadium today and tomorrow while the Western games will be also held today and tomorrow at Churchill Park.
