The recent National Youth Summit has been a good opportunity for the youths in the North to voice their concerns.
President of the Labasa Youth council and newly elected member of the Interim National Youth Council Viliame Rabuka said youths in the north are often neglected and the interim council will be an opportunity to voice their issues.
Rabuka said attending the summit in Suva has allowed them to meet with the Finance ministry on talks for a budget provision for youth development in the north.
The representatives from the north and west have elected their members for the Interim National Youth Council however, suva will re-nominate their representatives.
