Geographical conditions between Cakaudrove, Bua, Macuata and Taveuni has forced the Northern Districts to field separate teams for the Annual FMF Chow Games to be held at the TFL stadium in a fortnight's time.
Speaking to Fijivillage Sports, FMF Chow Games Co-ordinator, Patrick Bower said that after a lapse of participation last year, the Northern Districts will again come as separate teams this year.
A total of 17 Districts will be taking part in the two-day tournament namely Tonga, Suva, Nasinu, Rewa, Ra, Serua/Beqa, Namosi, Naitasiri, Tailevu North/Wainibuka now joining up, Nadi, Lautoka, Cakaudrove, Bua/Macuata, Taveuni, Kadavu and Koro.
Tonga will be bringing in 27 athletes and 5 officials.
The FMF Chow Games will be held at the TFL stadium on November 20th and 21st.
Suva are defending champions for both the Boys and Girls Division.
