Divisional Engineer Roads Northern, Fernando Marapala
has confirmed that operations are normal saying that most of their workers have turned up to work today.
35 workers are on strike while 250 are still working, some of these 250 are union members.
In Taveuni, 18 are working while 11 are on strike.
In Savusavu, 30 workers have turned for work while 14 have walked out of their jobs and in Saqani out of 25 only 6 have walked of their jobs while 18 are still working.
At the Nausori Road Depot, 44 workers have turned out for work and only 2 are on strike.
Nabouwalu PWD Depot has confirmed that none of their established and unestablished staff have gone on strike although they are members of the union.
