All Blacks mid fielder Ma’a Nonu looks set to play for the Chiefs next season.
He has been offered a two year deal by the NZRU which he is close to accepting and once he does that he will transfer his rugby base from Wellington to Hamilton.
Hosea Gear, Nonu, Piri Weepu, Andrew Hore and Cory Jane are all of contract at the end of the season.
