The non performance of national soccer reps in the opening game of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants is a concern to coach, Gurjeet Singh.
Speaking in a talk back show on our sister station, Radio Sagram this morning, Singh said most of the national reps played below par on Sunday.
He added that selection for the Pacific Games will be finalised during the BOG and it will be based on performance and not on reputation.
Labasa have majority of the national reps in their line-up in the likes of Akuila Mataisuva, Roy Krishna, Taniela Waqa, Pita Bolaitoga, Samu Kautoga and Alvin Avinesh.
The opening BOG match on Thursday at Ratu Cakobau Park is at 5.30pm where Suva will play Nadi and you can catch a live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
