There is still no word from Rugby House on when the new Sevens coach will be selected.

At present, former Sevens and Wardens coach Josateki Savou is with the team at the FORU tournament in Samoa and will return in time for the Coral Coast Sevens next month.

However, there is indication that the FRU board will meet on Thursday to deliberate on the findings after the Flying Fijians dismal performance at the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand, in which a new Sevens coach will also be determined.

The 2011 IRB Sevens Series kicks off next month in Gold Coast Australia.
