While the Draft People's Charter process is currently underway, there is no timeline yet for elections.
This has been confirmed by Permanent Secretary for Electoral Reform and Justice, Pio Tikoduadua who adds they are working towards preparing Fiji in terms of the anticipated reforms through the Draft Charter.
Tikoduadua said their preparations so far are going well.
Tikoduadua also said before an election proper, there needs to be a Forum convened for all stakeholders on respecting each other's rights in terms of giving and receiving information during the electoral process.
