Teachers and members of the public who enter classrooms to teach without registration could face prosecution under the Fiji Teachers Registration Promulgation.

According to Education Ministry some people enter classrooms to teach religious knowledge on part time basis or conduct coaching clinics.

The Ministry has head teachers, school principals and school management to ensure that these people are registered before they enter classrooms.

Education Ministry also said Peace Corps volunteers and other voluntary schemes are also bound by the FTRB promulgation and have called on all individual, organisation, sporting bodies who want to conduct training in schools should be registered to avoid prosecution.
