The Health Ministry has revealed that there have been no suspected cases of Pandemic H1N1 2009 from rural areas.
Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said on average the Ministry receives seven samples from doctors a day however most of these cases are confined to the urban centers.
Tora adds if cases were to arise from rural areas, they do have a team on standby to see those infected.
At the moment there are 10 confirmed cases of the Pandemic with 3 of these being children under the age of 8, majority of the patients being from Nadi and having travel history.
