The Namosi Provincial Development Company claims that it has not received any rent payment from the interim government for the last three months for the renting of Namosi House in Amry street Toorak by the Health Ministry since January this year.

Provincial Development Chairman Kiniviliame Taukeinikoro told Fijivillage news that another round of meetings with the Public Service Commission will be held next week after PSC and the Finance Ministry told them to reduce the rent rate.

He said there are various options they can take against PSC and the interim government regarding the matter for not honoring the earlier agreement, but they have decided that nothing will be achieved if there is no mutual negotiations.

Taukeinikoro said they are worried that nothing has been paid to the bank regarding the $7 million dollar loan they Province took to construct the building.

Meanwhile, Kadavu House has also face similar situations and Chairman Ratu Sela Nanovo is hoping that good sense will prevail.

PSC Permanent Secretary Taina Tagicakibau is yet to comment on the matter.
