No records broken in Macuata Zone
Organiser George Nathan said athletes could not perform up to expectations because of the poor ground condition but those athletes selected to compete in the Coca Cola Games will provide good competition to other top athletes from the Southern and Western Division.
All Saints won the Macuata 1 zone with 25 gold medals while Holy Family finished in second place with 22 gold.
The Macuatau 2 zone was won the Dreketi High and Labasa College taking the second spot.
Meanwhile in the Tavua/Vatukoula/Ra zone, Tavua College retained their title in the boys division but there was a new winner in the girls division with Ra High School beating last year=s champion Nadarivatu.
In the Ovalau Zone, Saint Johns College won both the boys and girls division titles.
The zone meets will continue next week while the Coca Cola Games will be held on 30th April and 1st May at the TFL National Stadium.
