The Public holiday for National Youth Day set for next Monday 22nd March will now be a normal work and school day.
In a statement Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said all employers, employees, civil servants, schools and teachers are informed that it is important to recover the lost days of productivity and education.
Bainimarama said we must come together as a nation, and must also do so for our fellow citizens who have suffered loss of livelihood and shelter.
The National Youth Day celebrations shall be held on a date to be determined.
