We do not have proper water trucks to cart water in times of unplanned water cuts.
This had been revealed by the Water Supply Department's Senior Information Officer Iliesa Sokia who said most of the time they have to modify the trucks they currently have in their fleet to cart water.
Sokia said most of the time they have to hire the trucks from private companies.
Sokia is also urging members of the public to call them immediately if they see any broken pipes or open leakages as this will allow them to have their men on the ground to fix the problem before it gets worse.
