Viti National Union of Taukei Workers General Secretary, Taniela Tabu does not have any documentary evidence to prove that a senior interim minister has been allegedly evading taxes.
When Village News questioned Tabu today, he said that he will go to the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption later today with newspaper cuttings, asking for a formal investigation to be conducted against the interim minister.
Meanwhile the Interim Prime Minister had earlier called on people making claims about certain interim ministers not paying their taxes to come up with concrete information to the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption.
Over the past few weeks some media reports and Taniela Tabu have alleged that a senior interim minister has not settled his dues.
Commodore Bainimarama said people can make any accusations but at the end of the day they need to come up with some information to FICAC.
