The Fiji Bus Operators Association said they have not experienced any problems during the first days of the Free Bus Fare Program.
President Zane Dean said while a number of matters have been raised in the media since the implementation of the program, he has not received any complaints from his members that it has been difficult for them.
Dean said bus drivers have been receiving fares from students as normal.
Dean is also calling for co-operation from all parties involved in the running of the Free Bus Fare Program to allow it to run smoothly.
While reacting to comments made that some students are being overcharged by bus some drivers who service certain school bus routes, Dean said this is only the first week of the program and there is bound to be some teething problems, adding this is not the time to be pointing fingers at one another.
Dean does admit that there are some isolated cases which they are investigating.
