As strong winds continue in the Central and Eastern Division, there are reports that there is no power supply in Koronivia, Nausori as many root crops have been damaged.
Koronivia Crime Zone One secretary Kamlesh Chand said heavy rain is also continuing as there is risk of flooding in low-lying areas as people there are bracing themselves.
There are also reports that power supply has been affected in Sawani Nausori, as well as other parts of Suva and Nasinu area.
The FEA customer care service centre confirmed some areas are without power and they are trying to ascertain the cause of the problem.
