Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said there are no plans to take action against Vanuatu after its Prime Minister Edward Natapei cancelled the Melanesian Spearhead Group Summit.
Commodore Bainimarama has told The Australian that he knows Natapei was pressured by Australia and he had no choice.
Meanwhile there is still no confirmation on when the next MSG will take place.
However MSG members, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands have both stated that they do not have any problems with Commodore Bainimarama chairing the MSG.
