The Soqosoqo Vakamarama said that the People's Charter process involves alot of rhetoric, yet people do not know exactly what the Charter will contain come the end product.
General Secretary, Adi Finau Tabakaucoro said while the Interim Minister for Women, Doctor Jiko Luveni has called on all women in the country to support the People's Charter she has failed to state what is needed in the Charter for women.
Tabakaucoro also stresses that it is very important that everyone needs to know the mechanisms that will be put in place by the National Council for Building a Better Fiji to move the country forward.
The People's Charter is a process whereby women will better understand issues affecting them.
Responding to Shameema Ali's comments that women do not need the Charter to air their views, Interim Minister for Women, Dr Jiko Luveni said the Charter is a forum which women can use to state what they would like to see in the development of women.
Luveni in replying to Soqosoqo Vakamarama General Secretary, Adi Finau Tabakaucoro's comments said women must first give in their input on the Charter.
