Vodafone Fiji 7s team coach Ben Ryan has revealed that there will be no national side for the upcoming Fiji Bitter Marist 7s next month.

Ryan confirmed that all the players will be released to play for their various clubs.

Ryan added this will enable him to identify new raw talent for Fiji Rugby.

Marist Rugby club President Lawrence Tikaram said the event sits before the Japan and Hong Kong Sevens tournaments and will be an ideal platform to test the very best of our finest local rugby players over two days of great entertaining rugby.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held on the 7th and 8th of next month.

64 teams will battle it out for the $10,000 prize money.
