The Ministry of Health is asking members of the public to be considerate in their use of the morgue services available at the different hospitals around the country.
This follows reports that the Lautoka Hospital does not have anymore berths at their morgues left.
Lautoka Hospital has 11 cabins, but they have 17 adult bodies and 6 babies at the moment.
The 11 cabins are supposed to have 10 adults and 1 baby.
The Ministry of Health is therefore asking the relatives to please take the bodies for burial early so that there are spaces available for others want to use the morgue to keep the bodies of their loved ones.
