It had been confirmed that the Public Service Commission will once again push for the implementation of the Performance Based Management System and scrap COLA.
PSC Chairman Rishi Ram told Fijivillage news that proposals on how this is to be implemented across the board is being put together and will be taken up to cabinet soon.
However, the Fiji Islands Council Trade Unions President Maika Namudu told Fijivillage that the Performance Based Management system is already part of the partnership agreement which had been thrown out by the interim government.
Namudu said also stressed that any move to initiate talks on implementing the Performance based management system would mean that the Partnership agreement had been re-invoked and the interim government would have to honor all other aspects of the agreement.
