Fiji has the highest number of people with hearing loss in the South Pacific region and close to 6 percent of the population is deaf or has hearing problems and more children make up the hearing-impaired community.

These are the words of Bronwyn Carabez, founder of the Carabez clinic, a first time ever hearing clinic for children below the age of 21 which was opened this morning at Suva=s Bayly clinic where treatment will be provided free of charge.

In partnership with Hear the World Foundation, Carabez said the newly opened clinic will address this issue and help children with hearing loss live a life where there are no limits.
