No injury concern for Flying Fijians
While other teams in the Rugby World cup have been hit with serious injuries, Fiji is blessed to have all the players running in the training sessions in the past few days.
Team Manager Pio Bosco Tikoisuva said their preparation for the crucial match against Springboks is going well and it’s now time for the players to fulfill their dream by giving the best shot against the Defending Champions.
The Flying Fijians to take on the Springboks will be announced at 2pm.
Meanwhile, in a surprise move, Springboks veteran lock Bakkies Botha has been named in the starting lineup to play Fiji.
He was pronounced injured a few days back.
Pat Lambie starts at fullback with Francois Steyn moving to second five eighth.
Also missing out is Bryan Habana due to a knee injury.
Fiji will take on South Africa at 6pm Saturday and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Viti FM with the voice of rugby Malakai Veisamasama and expert comments from Ilivasi Tabua.
Meanwhile, tonight at 7.30pm, USA will play against Russia in a Pool C match.
