There will be no I-Tatau presented to the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau by the Digicel Fiji 7s team before they leave for Moscow for the World Cup.

This was confirmed to Fijivillage by team Manager Semi Rogoyawa.

Rogoyawa said the President believes that a sporting year has not ended. 


The national side will leave for Moscow next Monday where Fiji will play Tonga at 12.28am next Saturday in their first pool match. 

Fiji then takes on Uruguay at 6.28pm next Saturday and Fiji’s last pool match is against Wales at 12.42am Sunday. 

The Cup quarter finals start at 9pm Sunday, the Cup semis kick off at 12.40am Monday while the World Cup 7s final will start at 4.55am Monday.
