Cabinet is sitting today however no decisions are expected in relation to the appointment of the President.
Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said there is no hurry to choose the next President as the Vice President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau is acting in the position.
He said the presidential nominee will be forwarded to the Chief Justice at the right time.
