The Native Land Trust Board has decided that goodwill payments should no longer be given by tenants or received by native landowners.
NLTB General Manager, Alipate Qetaki said the board of the NLTB agreed to a paper presented by the management and decided that goodwill payment should stop and landowners should be informed immediately.
Qetaki said people should also realize that goodwill payment is not authorized under the Native Land Trust Act.
