The Fiji National Provident Fund has alleged that it was not able to provide the full financial information to auditors on the Natadola Bay Resort Project and the Yatule Beach resort project because the original developers and contractors are withholding the information.

It has been stated in the 2008 FNPF annual report that their auditors KPMG were unable to access all the financial information of the 51% owned Natadola Bay resort and Yatule beach resort.

In response to queries from Fijivillage, the FNPF said the reason is because they are in a legal dispute with the original developers and contractors and that these people have withheld the information and refused to release it.

However the FNPF said the results of these resorts will be included in the 2009 report which is expected to be released next month.
