As the debate continues between the Interim Finance Minister and Flour Mills of Fiji Limited on why Mahendra Chaudhry reduced import duty for rice and peas, FMF Chairman, Hari Punja has confirmed that he is not closing down any of his factories.
Although there have been some media reports that FMF will close
Rice Company Limited and Pea Industries, Punja said this will never happen.
Chaudhry maintains that the duty reduction for imported rice was implemented to assist majority of the people of the country.
No factories will close-Punja
