The Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has issued a stern order for no disruptions to the peace Fiji currently has when the Public Emergency Regulations is lifted tomorrow.

In his address to the nation this morning, Commodore Bainimarama urged all citizens not to be swayed by a few selfish individuals.

Commodore Bainimarama said the government had put in place the Public Emergency regulations to ensure that the country move forward through reforms without letting the self interests of a few individuals get in the way.

He said the lifting of the regulations marks an important step towards the public consultations for the formation of a new constitution under which a truly democratic system can be held.
