All children will now have a fair share of educational benefits and have access to quality education through a new policy called Delivery of Education Services without Discrimination.

Interim Public Service Minister, Poseci Bune made this statement while officiating at the Graduation ceremony at the Lautoka Teachers College today.

Bune said all former policies that are deemed to be discriminatory have been phased out this year so that children will now be treated equally when educational resources including scholarships are being shared out.

He said another key policy decision is the setting up of four new school management boards at divisional level with members to be nominated from within the community, with the intention to open up new forums where the grassroots people can air their views on any aspect of education of their children.
