No decision has been made to place limits on the age of Public Service vehicles.
Transport Minister Timoci Natuva said this proposal is only in draft form which he hasn't seen yet and the Land Transport Authority will only implement it once he gives approval.
LTA has confirmed that they have not received any directive from the Transport Ministry to place limit on the age of public service vehicles.
Chief Executive Etuate Koroi said no decision has been made yet.
One of the dailies has reported today that LTA has been given approval by the Transport Ministry with the recommended age for taxis at twelve years, buses 30 years and mini buses 22 years.
