There is no confirmation at this stage on whether Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho will leave for a one year training course at the Malaysian War College from this month.
It was earlier highlighted that Qiliho will leave for the one year training program and ACP Isikeli Ligairi will act as police commissioner.
Qiliho says he will not make any comments on the issue.
Fijivillage has also sent questions to Prime Minister and Chairman of the Constitutional Offices Commission Voreqe Bainimarama.
He is yet to comment on the issue.
Fijivillage understands that no final decision has been made and official comments will be made after the decision is reached.
