Netball Fiji has not confirmed at this stage, when the National Under 21 side will tour Australia.
With 40 days to go for the World Youth Championships in the Cook Islands, Coach Melissa Walker said they must go on tour to play build-up matches against top clubs to ensure the girls are ready for the task ahead.
Walker said things are being finalised for the tour and will reveal more by the end of this week while preparations continue.
Meanwhile IFNA has confirmed that 20 teams will compete at the World Youth Netball Championships while drawing the pools.
Fiji is in Pool C with Australia, Botswana, Samoa and South Africa.
The World Youth Championships will be held from 10th to 20th August in Cooks Islands.
