No complaints received from RFMF
Tarte said in a meeting with Military Spokesperson Major Neumi Leweni there were no complaints against the media adding if the Military have any against any media organization than it should report it to the media council.
Yesterday, Driti had said they are frustrated that their statements had been being ignored by the two outlets adding that the Fiji Times should be closed down immediately.
He said while the Fiji Media Council has been allegedly saying that all political parties and stakeholders should take their grievances to them, the RFMF has always faced problems with the media outlets like Fiji Times who he alleges is a biased media outlet.
He said he stands by his statement that appropriate action should be taken against the newspaper company.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Times Editor in Chief Netani Rika said they have always sought comments from the Interim government and the RFMF on all issues and are always cooperative.
Fiji TV are expected to comment later today.
