The Methodist Church ministers who are members of the Standing Committee will not have a meeting until September.
That was confirmed by the acting general secretary of the church Reverend Tevita Nawadra.
Nawadra said with all due respect to the decision made by the Government, the committee has decided that they will apply for a permit to hold their meeting in September.
Earlier this month, the government announced that the decision to convene any meeting of the Methodist Church is revoked.
