There will be no choir competition and soli at this year’s annual Church conference for the Methodist Church of Fiji as it will now be held for only one day.

That is the confirmation from the Acting General Secretary of the church, Reverend Tevita Nawadra.

Nawadra said the church executives had earlier planned to meet with the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama to endorse their request for a three day conference, however they have decided to stick to the one day meeting.

He added that church members and ministers from 328 circuits will converge to the capital during the 2nd school term holiday for the annual conference.

The executives are putting together a program which will fit the one day meeting.
