Former Fiji Broadcasting Corporation Chief Executive, Francis Herman was allowed to leave the country yesterday because he has been cleared of the allegations leveled against him.

FICAC spokesperson, Semi Koroi confirms that the file was forwarded to the Attorney General's office and a decision was made that no charges would be laid against Herman.

Immigration Director, Commander Viliame Naupoto has confirmed that he received a directive from Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama to allow Herman to leave for Vanuatu.

It is understood that Herman flew out of the country yesterday morning.

The Interim Attorney General said that Herman is free to travel in and out of Fiji.
