Though consultations are still underway into international calls, the Commerce Commission said that there will not be any changes to the incoming international call rate.
Commerce Commission chairman Dr Mahen Reddy said that the Commission was approached by mobile phone company, Digicel Fiji to relook at certain international rates.
Reddy stressed that the decision is a set one as the international market determines the incoming call rates.
The Commission will also be looking at the various hardware suppliers in the country as according to Public Enterprises Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, the Government has received word of high mark-up.
