There is still no confirmation from the Fiji Rugby Union on when the Vodafone Fiji 7s players will receive their bonus payments for their Gold Coast 7s victory last month.
FRU Chief Executive Officer Radrodro Tabualevu confirmed in a press conference last week that the players will soon receive their bonus payments.
However, Fijivillage has been reliably informed that the players are still waiting for their bonus.
Vodafone Fiji Limited has confirmed that they have already transferred $20,000 to the Fiji Rugby Union for the payments to be made to the players.
Meanwhile, Vodafone Fiji 7s team manager Ropate Kauvesi confirmed that several players signed their contracts today.
Players that are expected to sign the contracts include Jerry Tuwai, Semi Kunatani, Emosi Mulevoro, Apisalome Waqatabu, Apisai Domolailai, Eminoni Nasilasila and Aisake Katonibau.
