Police are yet to make an arrest in relation to an incident where the head of a Commerce Commission team investigating local hardware operators allegedly involved in price fixing was assaulted over the weekend.

Assistant spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said a team of officers from Raiwaqa is investigating the incident and is trying to identify the attacker.

The Commerce Commission staff was also warned by the person who assaulted him.

Inspector Sokomuri said following the incident, police officers are now accompanying the Commerce Commission investigation team.
