The Local Government Ministry is yet to take action against Suva Lord Mayor, Ratu Peni Volavola for using the mayoral vehicle during the Methodist Church conference in Macuata last month.
Interim Local Government Minister, Jone Navakamocea said he is still awaiting a formal reply from Ratu Peni on the issue as he had asked for an explanation.
Ratu Peni earlier confirmed that he sought the council's approval before taking the vehicle to Vanua Levu for his personal use.
