It's not known whether the President's office will respond officially to the letter from the National Federation Party (NFP) calling on the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo to dismiss Commodore Frank Bainimarama's interim regime.
When approached yesterday by Fijivillage, President's Office Permanent Secretary Rupeni Nacewa said he will not comment on the matter since the letter is with the President and he is currently looking into it.
In the letter, National Federation Party General Secretary Pramod Rae said that the interim cabinet had failed to fulfill the mandate given by the President 21 months ago hence it should be dismissed from office.
