There is no water at the Ba Mission Hospital for patients and staff.
Former MP and Rarawai resident Gaffar Ahmed has called on the PWD to provide water supply as soon as possible .
He adds that about 800 houses in the interior of Ba have been badly affected by the flood and has called on authorities to help people.
The Ba Town Council has made arrangements with individuals to provide drinking water in Ba.
Mayor Praveen Bala said people can only get drinking water from some areas in and outside town.
Meanwhile, Lalisha Mohammed who runs Lally's Fashion in Ba located opposite the Ba Mosque said everything in her shop has been damaged and is finding difficulties in cleaning up as there is also no supply of water or electricity.
