There will be no Uprising Fiji International 7s next year as it will clash with the Las Vegas 7s in January two weeks before the New Zealand 7s.

The organizing committee has decided to cancel next year’s meet as no international team will be able to enter.

Tournament Director Culden Kamea said it’s a big disappointment not to host the 4th Uprising 7s.

Major sponsor Uprising Beach Resort owner Rene Munch said they will be back in 2015.

Munch promised that they will be an increased sponsorship and prize money in 2015.
