There is no threat of a tropical cyclone heading towards the Fiji waters.
This message is to the people of Fiji after certain media outlets today said that Tropical Cyclone Jasper which formed in Australia is heading towards the Fiji group.
Nadi Weather Office Director, Rajendra Prasad said some media outlets have distorted the information.
However Prasad said a low pressure system may develop by the end of the week.
